Going away statement

Going away statement.
So, tomorrow i leave home on my way to Fort Jackson in Columbia South Carolina. I'll be there for about 9 weeks doing my Basic Combat Training with the U.S. Army. For the past couple of months I have been preparing for this, physically and mentally but few things can compare to what awaits me in this journey.
Hopefully during these last few weeks we found time to hang out together this last week I had the pleasure of sharing some fun moments with family and friends, and although it was nice, it also really messed with my mind, got me thinking if its really worth it, and the impotence of knowing theres nothing I can do anymore doesn't help but also kind of against my will I was apointed to assist to one last drill weekend with the RSP unit which I thought it would suck being as it was my last weekend here but it also brought me back on track about my decision and being there with people that have gone through what I'm about to go through and people with the same goals as me it really reinforced my spirits, I dont care how cheesy it may sound. For the time of my stay there I wont be allowed to have a cellphone or computer, nor acces to either one, but this isnt a farewell letter, I will only be gone for about 2 months and I'll be back before you guys notice, this is something I've been wanting to do for over 3 years, I just had it in the back of my head and although nerveracking it's also very exiting to me, you guys know me and I'll do my best and keep that smile on my face, I really want to thank Mr. Peterson, my U.S. Gov. teacher also a green beret and former National Guardsmen, Specialist Preciado he's been really helpful so far and I know he will still be, and Sgt. Medina who also helped me out throughout the way.
Anyways, I'm out, there's stuff I've got to take care of but thanks for taking the time for reading this, I would really apreciate it if you guys would take the time to write me a letter, just saying hi, or giving me an update on Teresa I'll have someone post my adress on facebook soon. I'll miss you guys but I'll stay strong and do my best.
